About college

Alakol Humanitarian and Technical College is one of the oldest educational institutions of the Zhetysu region, has been keeping its glorious chronicle since December 1973. Thousands of graduates take with them the love, warmth, professional knowledge and skills of the engineering and teaching staff, distinguished by its stability and harmony.

Historical background

On the basis of the order of the Taldykorgan regional vocational Management No. 143 dated December 25, 1973, the Usharal Agricultural Vocational School No. 122 was established.
On May 16, 2008, in accordance with Resolution No. 102, the state institution "Vocational School No. 5 of the city of Usharal" was established as a state institution "Vocational Lyceum No. 5 of the city of Usharal of the Alakol district".
On May 15, 2013, in accordance with the decree of the Akimat of Almaty region No. 138 of the State Committee for the Humanities "Vocational Lyceum No. 5" was transferred to the "Alakol Humanitarian and Technical College

The material and technical base of the college meets modern requirements.  The college has a 3-storey standard academic building and a 5-storey dormitory for 500 people. There are 17 classrooms, 2 computer rooms, 3 laboratories, 7 production workshops, 1 laboratory of cooks, 2 laboratories with driver simulators, a gym, an assembly hall, a psychological service room, a medical room, a library, as well as a dining room with 250 seats.

Currently, the college is headed by Rakishev Didar Nursultan.

The college offers the following short- term courses:

"Operator of housing and communal services", "driver of a car of category VS, V", "gas-electric welder", "cook", "hairdresser", "tailor", "tractor driver".

The college has sports and cultural clubs. The university employs 72 employees, including 31 teachers with higher education, 1 senior master, 9 masters of industrial training. 4 production masters have higher education, 5 have specialized secondary education.

the first category - 9 teachers and 1 production master;
8 teachers of the second category and 3 production masters.

Achievements of college teachers and production masters

Many teachers and students of the Alakol Humanitarian and Technical College won prizes in district and regional competitions. Teachers and masters of industrial training: B. N. Shayakhmetov, G. T. Syzdykbayev, Zh. A Zhetpisbayev, M. Mukayeva, K. Baitugyrova, B. Baykalovich, D. Rakishev, P. Zhakupekova. In addition, in the 2010 academic year, among the students of the vocational lyceum at the regional competition of professional skills in the specialty Tractor driver –machinist of agriculture, a student of the master of industrial training, an excellent student of vocational education Syzdykbaeva G. T. Rymzhanov Azat took the prize-winning third place in the nomination "sports leader". he was awarded a management diploma and a cash prize. In the regional competition "The best mechanic" among the colleges of the Aksu district, the 3rd place was taken by a student of 22 groups under the guidance of the master of industrial training of the Baikal Bagdat Zhunusov Madi. .In 2014, in the regional competition "The best welder" among the colleges of the city of Taldykorgan, under the guidance of the master of industrial training Zhetpisbaev Zhandos Akataevich, a student of the 21st group Askarbekov Asebulan Sauletovich won the nomination "The Best welder".  In 2013, a teacher of the Kazakh language, Zh. N., spoke at the regional small scientific conference. A student of Kuzenbayeva, a student of the 32 group Kydyrgaliuly Daniyar was awarded a letter of thanks.

 College students, along with their studies, achieve great success in sports. So, in 2014, Tatiana Shalneva, a student of the 13th Sambo wrestling group, won several prizes at republican competitions. Also, Mahabbat Kairat, a student of the 23rd group, took 1st place in the republican and regional Judo wrestling competitions.  In the regional boxing competition in Taldykorgan, a student of the 21st Karimov Musa group took the 2nd prize. In 2013, in the city of Sarqand, in the regional Basketball competition among colleges, college athletes took 3rd place. In 2013, in the village of Kapal, at regional competitions among colleges, college students took 2nd place in volleyball.

The Government drew attention to the fact that dormitories and workshops have been overhauled and are provided with new equipment.  To date, both in theory and in practice, all conditions have been created for the training of our youth in each of the above specialties.    

   Since 2014, students have been trained in the specialty "sewing production and modeling of clothing", a sewing workshop and 5 business machines have been launched. The office of the paid specialty "hairdresser" is fully equipped with the necessary equipment.  In the future, we intend to introduce these specialists into the budget.  The workshop of the college is equipped with a material base for obtaining professional education. In the specialty "cook"there is 1 workshop and a "training restaurant". In the specialty"tractor driver-machinist of agricultural production "there are offices of laboratory practice"locksmith shop","car maintenance","agricultural machines", in the specialty "gas–electric welder"-workshops"gas welding","electric welding".

Currently, the college is equipped with 5 passenger cars, 1 truck, 3 auto trainers, 1 MTZ-82 tractor, training sessions are held on schedule at the training ground.Students from rural areas who have arrived to study at the college live in the hostel for free. Responsibility for the education of their peace and security lies with the educators of such experienced teachers as G. Sadvakasova, K. Sembayeva.  The head of the college A. Sadvakasovich made a great contribution to the systematic work. In particular, new equipment was purchased at the college. The sports hall, the dining room, the assembly hall have been completely renovated. Classrooms are being renovated in accordance with the requirements of modern times. Replenishes the team with new specialists. He was awarded with district and regional diplomas.

In order to foster patriotism, devoted service to their homeland, national education and education of modern youth, the entire staff of the Alakol Humanitarian and Technical College is involved.
